Preparing to Meet With Us

We offer consultations to discuss your case and to determine what options may be most consistent with your goals.  E-mail or call our office to request an appointment, letting us know what times of day work best for you.

BEFORE MEETING WITH US

  • Prepare a list of questions that you have regarding your case and state clearly the goal that you are seeking to obtain through our firm.

  • Gather as much documentation as you have that is relevant to your case.  Please forward photocopies of these documents so that we may retain them for your case file.

DURING OUR MEETING

  • It is crucial that you disclose ALL pertinent information you have about your case.  Even if you think it may have no bearing, it is important that all circumstances and facts be known at the onset in order to allow us to prepare the best case possible.  Information that is disclosed at a later time could have a negative impact on your case, and may lead to a delay in its processing.

  • If you do not understand any terms or points discussed during our meeting, let the attorney know – don't hesitate to ask questions.

  • When the meeting has concluded, you should understand the following:
    - What steps will be taken in your case
    - What the estimated costs and duration of your case are
    - What the potential complications of your case are
    - What you can do to assist your case

AFTER WE BEGIN WORKING TOGETHER

  • Make sure that your notify our office when you have a change in your contact information.

If at any time you have questions regarding your case, contact us immediately.lol Seeking answers from outside sources, such as friends that have gone through the same process, will not provide accurate information.  Every case is different, and therefore results can never be generalized.
